In this collection, we will explore the types of income that are available to your Club or Society.
Some forms of income can take time to arrange and may require approval from the Union and/or your committee. Please submit applications as early as possible, allowing sufficient time for review, approval, and any follow-up actions before your event takes place.
Summary
| Banking Records | Some payments are in the form of cash, cheques or bank transfers, such as donations. For these, a banking record needs to be raised for finance to be able to reconcile it to the correct account. |
| Donation | Money received as goodwill for which the donor receives no benefit. A donation letter/email needs to be provided. |
| Sales invoices | Offering goods/services to a customer and requesting payment for it. |
| Online Sales | Selling products on the Union online shop. |
| Sources of Money | Other sources of money, such as Grant and IC Trust |
