Your campaign message and publicity

A key element to any successful campaign is the publicity behind it; how you tell students about your ideas and persuade them to vote for you. It's completely up to you how you deliver your campaign but to find out more about how to campaign and some guidance around campaigning, look at the candidate pack.

For the Autumn Elections a public campaign is less common but if you would like to deliver a physical campaign with colours, themes and slogans on posters and leaflets then that's up to you!

Campaign Budgets: Most candidates running in the Autumn Elections may spend up to £25 on their campaign. No reimbursement from the Union will be given – this limit is simply to ensure that candidates may only spend up to the same amount on resources as other candidates.   It is a requirement that you declare your spending by 17:00 on 23rd October 2025 on EVoting. Please remember to include your receipts.  For more information about spending and your allocation, check out the candidate pack and website.
